Sea state Moderate (thankfully)

We are south east of Madeira and finally the sea state is decreasing in it's pounding. What a week of rocking, rolling and rough! Last night, our mate the moon decided to join us finally with a smile on the bottom left side to say he's getting bigger until the 16th. It was really nice last night to see the horizon - and the squall clouds that Amalia and I timed to perfection to leave Erica and April to handle the wind, rain and lightning! Sorry! But Erica thinks it's fun, so she's happy.

This morning the sun is out. Heather, Amalia, Marie and I had a workout: shaking a reef, followed by our 1st headsail change since leaving on Monday. There was a little chaffing on the haylard at the shelve which Erica is fixing now.

Today must be a better day as Lucy finally managed to get her contact lenses in! She is now very happy on deck, wanting to do anything! Our way point west of all the Canarias Islands is 259.4nm away - that's our next target. Our meals on Maiden are simply divine, all the dinners and lunches are incredible, mostly from Marie, Amalia, Heather and April. Yummy!
